Our Story

In November 1983, the late Art McElhinney, Jr. opened the doors of McElhinney's Service. Originally known as "Manordale," the station was a full-service fuel depot. In 1999 the fuel pumps were removed, and the focus became completely service orientated, leading to the addition of a clean and comfortable waiting room, enhanced diagnostic equipment, and more service bays throughout the years. Today, with the help of Art's family and dedicated employees, McElhinney's Service is a competitive automotive repair facility performing everything from basic vehicle inspections to the most complex powertrain troubleshooting.

We believe that McElhinney's success is a result of the values and integrity that were built into the business by our founder. We are continually committed to being honest and truthful with our customers, providing quality work at a fair price, and keeping up with the knowledge, tools, and equipment required to repair and maintain newer vehicles.

We are grateful for our loyal customer base, and for the new clients that we continually receive as a result of their referrals. It is our pleasure and our honor to serve you.
